This book is the project I have been working on during the illustration pre-college program I took in School of Visual Arts, NY. The course included a lot of experimentation, as we had to finish a piece a day, exploring new techniques and materials while learning core aspects of illustration and bookmaking practices. The main challenge of the program was finding creative ways to address one color and a particular spirit animal through every assignment, which was a great opportunity to practice problem-solving skills illustrators have to master.
